Problems with A10M geeetech

Post by ashilnayak2 » Wed Jul 15, 2020 10:07 pm

I have a A10M geeetech one of the extruder motor is clearly under-extruding. The other extruder works fine. I already change the fillament, temperature, adjust the spring tension and change the fillamanet roll postion. There's no nozzle clogged, because the when I change the same fillament to the other extruder it works fine . I don't know what else to do.

printer: Geetech A10M

hours of use: less than 70 hours

fillament: 1.75mm

temperature of nozzle end: 200c

temperature of bed: 60c

Check out steps per mm in settings, and try to make calibration of extruder

I had the same issue. Found a stress crack in the arm that is spring tensioned. Changed both out to the MK8 extruder and solved the issue. Had to re-calibrate the extruders since the Mk8's don't use a 3 to 1 dgear drive. Reduced the esteps to 97. Also had to flip the connector to reverse the direction. Alittle trim with an exacto knife and your in business. Works great.

I'm having the same problem with one extruder underextruding and the other works fine. I think it may be a clog somewhere in the heater block. The E0 motor & gear are working fine but the filament is meeting resistance and getting chewed up trying to push through. I'm not sure how to clear it, I'm not thrilled about disassembling the whole assembly.

Did you solve your problem?
