Bed Doesn't Move Properly

Post by classified » Sat May 30, 2020 2:14 am

Hello,

I have been having A LOT of problems with my Geeetech A10 printer lately. I've been able to solve a few of them by changing the hot end several times. My newest problem is that when I go to print something or level the heat bed, the heat bed will not move all the way forward! And when it prints it would make a loud boom noise once in a while and the current layer of the part will be printed completely shifted 1 cm to the left! Then about 30 minutes later I would hear the noise again and the current layer of the part will be printed another 1 cm to the left! I checked the belt and it was intact and the belt tension was fine, the bed was already leveled, and the stepper motor still works (not burned out). I have no clue what's wrong! Could it be an issue with the mother board or an old version of the firmware?
Please help me figure out this extermly frustrating problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Sorry for the slow response.
If the X-axis can move normally, you can swap the X-axis and Y-axis motor wires or the drive on the motherboard to see if they are damaged.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
