Extruder fan noisy when it starts up...

Anyone having this issue...when my hotend fan starts up, it kind of rattles for a few seconds then it's fine. Is the fan going? if so, is it easy to replace. I have the A10 Pro v2560 model.

You can replace a fan with the same specifications.

thanks for the quick reply, would this be covered under warranty? I've only had the machine for about 3 weeks. If so, do I go through Geeetech's website.

Is it the fan that cools the heating rod or the fan that cools the nozzle?

I have the same problem, it's the fan in the front, so the one who cools down the printed PLA. When it starts up it rattles for a few seconds. For me, it actually helps if you just flick it with your finger

Even if you change the fan it may not last, part of my regular maintenance is oiling the fan bearings with light oil, just peal back the little sticker that covers the bearing, a few drops of oils and its good for a month, then repeat, I never have any noisy fans now.
