Wont start print on second extruder

Hi,
I just update my GeeeTech A10M fram factory firmware to Marlin 2.0.5.3. I have an issue that occured after the upgrade, it seems that now i cant start prints on the second extruder, i could do this before the upgrade. It heats up to the right temp and it moves to the start position of the purge line, and then it halts and the systems freezes up. So i need to restart it on the powerswitch. There is no problem with starting a print on extruder one. Mixing colors works fine when its done in the printer, so extruder two works. Have anyone else experienced this?
I use Cura 4.6 to slice.
Tell me if you need to see g-code or settings.

Hi,we haven't tested Marlin2.0, it is recommended that you return to using the previous marlin version.

I have the same problem with 2.0. Did you get it resolved? I’m not a fan of having to go backwards for the wrong reason.
I read somewhere, recently, that Geeetech has a problem with their hotend using Marlin 2.0.
I experienced strange behavior using both S3D and Cura.

No havnt solved it yet, and the problem also occures when printing with primetower, prints fine on extruder 1 but stops when its suppose to change to the 2nd extruder. Guess i have to downgrade to 1.9 then.
Thx for the replys!

Wait a minute I think I got it to work now. I tried to setup so it would blend colors from one extruder to the next and now it seems like its worknig, im not satisfied with the priming. but that turned out to be my fault, in cura, when changing dual settings you have to change it on both extruders, i put 20 mm2 on one and the other is still left on 6mm2. So thats why its priming less on the brighter pla
But here is what i did.
Under mixing menu:
I did a reset on v-tools (dont know if its necessery)
Then I edited the v-tools putting v0 to 100%-0% and v1 to 0%-100%, i think the "error" was here (human error, lack of knowledge), my v1 was set to 0%-0%.
after that i put gradient v0->v1 (dont know if this i necessery either)
But its printing right now and its sepparating colors as i instructed it to do. but it halted for many seconds between colorchanges, that made my heart jump and i thought it crashed, but then it starts again on the other extruder.
Hope this helps you

Hi tobeca,
I have the same problem, after the upgrade the second extruder does not work. Mix yes. Have you found a solution to modify the configuration of Marlin 2.0.5.3?
I use Prusa Slicer. Verta's FW is working, but they're not stable.
