Upgrade A10 with E3D Chimera +

Hello
I have bought my A10 almost a year ago and for the last two months I have been having problems with prints and last week cooling fans stopped working so I decided to upgrade it a little. Since the drives seem to be ok, I am planning to buy all metal E3D Chimera + hot end with high temperature termistor (I would like to use high strength plastics such as Polycarbonate and Nylon) and TMC2208 V1.2. There come my four main questions:

1. How hard is it to modify the firmware for it to correctly read PT1000 temperature sensor? And is there any step by step manual how to do it?

2. What is the maximum temperature of stock A10 heating cartridge? Is it capable of temps around 350°C? And what is it s rated wattage?

3. I have noticed that the motherboard has 2 extruder connectors. Is it possible to just flash the firmware and connect second extruder? If so, what firmware do I have to flash it with?

4. Are TMC2208 V 1.2 on GT 2560 v 3.0 motherboard plug and play? And since im a little tight on budget im planning to buy only 2 (for X and Y axis). Is it going to be a problem if I don't change all 3 drivers?

Thanks for the answers

Hi,1. It is not recommended to change;
2. The maximum temperature is about 250 °;
3. If you use two extruders, you can refresh the A10M firmware;
4. You can only replace what you need, but you need to change the corresponding one in Arduino Motor running direction.

Thank you. And why is the PT1000 (or the thermistor in general) not recommended to change?

Okay thanks, I thought that there would be some enthusiasts with similar modifications here that would just send me the right direction. Didn't know that mods are actually from Geeetech :D I'll look around somewhere else :)
