Broken Extruder

Post by Newls » Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:43 pm

Hi all

I've been having issues with my printer recently and it turns out my E0 extruder has broken.
The arm has snapped around the pivot point.

I bought a new extruder went to alter the Esteps and found out that it's not support with the mixer.

I''m a little bit confused what to do at the moment.
I don't actually mix the filament as it's quite poor at mixing. I use it more to switch between filaments either mid print or most often to use a different filament without changing it.

I saw someone had printed their own arm but couldn't find the print file for it.

Does anyone have any ideas of what to try next?

Thank you
Newls

:D Hi, Can your extruder discharge normally?

You can check if your Teflon tube is fully inserted,
The pressure of the feeder.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

The actual arm on he extruder has broken.
For now i'm inserting an M92 E95 when i use T0 and M92 E430 when using T1 This seams to do the trick.
