I've printed many things on my (stock) A10M, and most of the prints worked just fine, until 3-4 days ago, I had a weird incident... My BLTouch sensor was deployed and blinking, and caught on the item that had been printed... I had to reset the sensor and re-home the printer to get everything aligned correctly again...
I found that the bracket had been bent out of shape, so I had to re-calibrate the Z offset.
Anyway, since then, printing with the same settings caused SERIOUS layershifting.
I have since reset the EEPROM (M502-M500) to ensure any jerk settings, etc. are stock standard, and redone the calibration. I also decreased the print speeds to 45 and movement speed to 60 (from 60 and 100)
Printing the same item as before now still gives layer shift - but only in Y direction, so it is definitely bed related - after about 1cm in height...
I have not yet re-opened the cpu case to measure the driver voltages again, but I verified (and for some drivers re-tuned) them a while ago when I just had the printer and had layer shifting as well...
I'm getting a bit tired of the inconsistent behavior (not to speak about the ~20 meter in wasted PETG filament so far!), so any useful suggestions are welcome!
Suddenly layer shifts... But only on Y...

Hi, If it refers to the y-axis layer shift,
You can check the tightness of your belt and make appropriate adjustments;
Check whether the bearings and pulleys are issued with a card.
Printing speed reference range: 30-60mm / s.

So that is within specs. and I could print at higher speeds before...FearNaBoinne wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 5:26 amI also decreased the print speeds to 45 and movement speed to 60 (from 60 and 100)

Hi,thanks,Happy New Year!
You can check whether the lower bearing and pulley can move smoothly,
If the card is issued, lubricating oil can be added.
