So I had some Y layer shit issues on my A10M, after doing some digging I found that the problem probably lies at the stepper motor drivers (I have using the standard). After doing some research I ordered 5 TMC2208, but just plugging them in and setting the vref doen't work. I have read online about diffrent modes but don't really understand how to cinfigure them and what mode is best to use on the Geeetech A10M.

Hi, If you mean print layer shift,

you can check if your belt is loose and can be properly tightened;
check whether the bearings and pulleys are stuck.
If it is issued, lubricating oil is needed for lubrication.

regarding changing the driver board, when you replace it, you need to replace it with the printer turned off,
and you need to reverse the position where you replaced the driver board in the firmware.

Hi, I find this.
you need to change the position of the driver board in the firmware and change the direction of the motor.
