A10T Y AXIS MOVE AND STOP EVERY FEW CENTIMETERS

Post by Landy » Wed Nov 27, 2019 12:08 am

Hi All,

Just recieved my A10T and found out that the Y Axis moves and stops every few centimeters, as shown in the video bellow:

I think that it is due to the cencentric bolts but am not sure - just wondered what is your take on it?

Hi, You can try to adjust your lock nut,
Then check if your y-axis guide is inwardly recessed causing this to happen.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

It is normal issue of V-slot wheels. I have it too and printing...

If printer moves are smooth, then do nothing.

Apply drop of some good oil (motor oil, gun oil like Ballistol is best) to all bearings. And lithium vaseline to the Z-rod and extruder gear.

Later you could change wheels for new one.

TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
