A10M extruder slam detector filament improvement

Hello,

I hold A10M very satisfied with the product very good quality of print nothing to say!

I detected an anomaly on the detection of the filament which generates a brake blocking punctually the scrolling of the filament.
The extruder begins to snap when the detection of the filament goes awry and opposes its free operation!
Here is my improvement I made a teflon sleeve a pen spring diameter 4 mm length 20mm caps the sleeve.
Of course it is necessary to machine a Teflon sleeve diameter 6mm.
Length 11mm a shoulder of diameter 4 depth 3 mm which is housed on the plastic of the extruder on the other side shoulder diameter 4.5 depth 1.5mm. :)

Drilling the teflon sleeve to the 2 mm diameter through everything.
Since this improvement the extruder works perfectly, no more snapping or lack of accidental materials!
I remain at your disposal if you wish to get a small diagram of the Teflon sleeve.
Note: during the change of the filament it takes a little patience to put everything in place the filament in the spring then the sleeve introduced into the extruder tube.
a+

You will get another problems after few kg of printing.
Did you try to put teflon tube to the wide end of switch enclosure?

Good idea :D
but for now everything works perfectly well for many hours of printing.
My system can be further improved. :D
I recommend this trick so more slamming extruder or filament blocks with detection.

Use rather spring no coloured, bare metal only.

Use filament filter.
