Just purchased a Geeetech A10, new version with latest G2560 board. I've printed a few things with stock FW. Would I gain anything by upgrading to 1.1.9 or 2.x? I'm looking to improve print quality especially stringing/bridging problems. I'm also having random issue where printer created a big mess mid print, not at first layer or at a seemingly difficult part of the print, like a near bridge or leaning location etc. I'm using hatchbox PLA and using cura with Geeetech A10 profile found in this forum. Print temp is 200C

Also some newbie question: does layer height affect success rate? 0.1 is the finest for A10, would that ensure highest success rate? Or is the the other way around?

Hi, about threading
You can try
1. Increase the withdrawal distance;
2. Increase the withdrawal speed;
3. Do not print too fast;
4. Do not overheat the printing temperature of the extruder, you can properly lower the temperature.
Regarding the layer height setting, you can choose between 0.1-0.3.
I hope this can help you.
