Hi,
The 2-in-1-out hotend of the A10m is a nice feature, but i would like to have a single hotend as well.
Which hotends would you recommend and how would i have to change the firmware?
Have a nice day!

Hi, you can select monochrome printing, no need to replace hotend.

Ehhh.... That's a messy option. Been there, done that, tried that. The easiest way to do it is to get an MK10 head block (with m7 threaded holes), a similarly sized nozzle and you're in business.
Reuse one of the cooling blocks, both the flat separators and keep using the same heartbreak throat. Take out the teeny tiny round strainers with the cone in the middle and store them somewhere safe for when you want to reassemble the original A10M extruder.
Check out this video by Chep showing how you can reduce clogs and further improve the delivery of filament to the hot end.

Alternatively there are a lot of different carriages people have made on Thingiverse that use the E3D V6, but that can't be attached to your A10M straight out of the box, so plan accordingly.

Hi,
it's been a while and i never got rid of the clogging.
What possibilities do i have, at the moment, to convert the printer to a single hotend?
Would the A10 replacement be suitable for my printer?

thank you very much!

Thanks!
I found a single Hotend suitable for the A10 in my Area and just needed to set it down a bit in the cage, so the nozzle would actually be lower than the coolingfan and air vent.
Is the 2in-1out hotend of the A10m bigger (does the nozzle reach further down) in comparison to the A10 hotend?
Or did i just buy a non standard/unofficial replacement? (was 14 bucks and not used - the seller wanted to do the same thing but never went through)
I used 4 nuts as spacers and longer screws to mount the hotend a bit lower.
I used a marlin 2 Firmware with Geeetech A10 config and will try the first print this evening.
Anything i need to do before printing, beside Bed Leveling?
