Difficult to connect the cable to LCD display board

The flat cable with 40 pins is so thin that I can not connect to the LCD display board. I tried many times but the cable would not stick. Anyone could help to show me how to do this.

I use a tape and form to push the cable against the slot. The light is now on on LCD but no text or anything, just green light. Please let me know what I did wrong.

Hello.

The FFC connector has a snap-flap flap on the hinge.
This is the black element.
Pick it up slightly to jump up.
Slide the flat FFC cable evenly into place. Close the flap.

If you fail to insert the cable correctly into the display socket, the display will not function properly.

This picture does not look like the one on the new model A10M. The connector is really small. No flap.
