Good morning. I have just purchased a geeetech A10 and have installed a BLTouch on it. Followed the steps to make the changes to the firmware and flashed it to the printer. The BLTouch works fine it auto homes fine and it does the bed levelling sequence fine however went I start a print within a few seconds of the print starting the extruded stops and the z axis lifts all the way to the top of the printer and keeps trying to go higher until I completely power off the printer. I have looked at the firmware and can not see any mistakes the printer worked fine before the installation of the BLTouch which would make me think it’s related to that.

I’m really stuck and am ready to throw the printer out the window. I’ve tried as much as I can as I’m completely new to this. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix please please get in touch

amazing. can't believe that was it. i had compiled and uploaded with 1.8.8 just deleted that and got 1.8.5 and compiled and uploaded and it got further that it had before. i had to cancel the print as i had a lump of filament around the nozzle where i must not have the height set correctly even though the z off set is set correctly so now i need to learn to make it print with a BLTouch attached.

Thank you for your help
