I have made a harness to fold down after the bedleveling has finished, I didnt like the Pin falling and messing up my prints when it vibrated too much.
I have posted it on Thiniverse if anyone wants to use it. This is For the The Newer A10 as its made for the 3D bracket that ships with the A10.
Hope it saves your prints it did mine.

Yes Sure William, Sorry I have taken a bit to reply but My Dad is in a coma so I havent been on here.
Glad it is being usefull, For somthing so small it took a bit to get it right, But I am using it as I type its good to know I can go away from the printer now knowing the pin aint gonna fall.
Steve.

In the 3D Touch Sensor there is a magnet over the pin, connected with some heatshrink tube. The heatshrink tube extends a bit over the magnet, but when it is too short (which was the case with my sensor) the pin is often not released. When it is too long, the pin falls down too easily.
I fixed my sensor by adding a little molten filament, stuck it to the heatshrink tube's upper part over the magnet, and heated it so it formed a nice drop, not broader than the tube itself. Then i tested, and as long as the pin fell down i used a fine rasp to reduce the material above the magnet. At some point, i came to a kinda optimal point. The needle comes out when needed but is held up by the magnet in normal print mode. Since then, it works awesome.

interesting idea but its nothing more then a bandied for the real problem.
the real problem being the cause of the pin dropping when it should not.
one of such causes of the pin dropping is caused by the wire harness failing.
the loss of connection on the 3dtouch/bltouch the probe light is turned off them back on at this point it performs a self test after reconnecting.
the instance described will only become worse over time until the probe no longer turn on at all or the pin drops outside the bed while printing and rips the pin out breaking the probe.
i reported the defect in the wire harness some time ago it seems to me the solution would be to use thicker wires as only the small thin wires break.
i have had a total of 4 of these harness's break in a few short months of use.

My situation isnt to do with the Wiring harness its a case of if the head moves to fast doing a small area of infill, it shakes the pin loose it drops and catches on whatever I am printing. The light in the 3D touch doesnt go off and back on its just the magnet cant take the Jerking/Vibration.
I made the pin support to combat the problem I was having, and it does the Job for me. So I thought I would share it because it is frustrating having it drop, but I had to make it so I could do it quick and easy after the leveling process had finished and before printing started.
For some it may not work as it all depends how far the pin is from the bed, with mine it has enough room to move the head and the bottom of my Pin Support is high enough off the bed to not scrape the filement that is being printed.
Steve.
