High temp read out. Even with everything disconnected (A10M) + support experience
Hi Guys,
Happy Holidays 1st,
Well ill do my best to explane.
Printer was heating up fine, bed was heating up then hotend,then print started and i noticed that my extruder was running the wrong way. ( to be clear 1st print, New printer and me complete noob.)
So i edited the Code in Firmware #define INVERT_E0_DIR false and uploaded the firmware.
Now here is was it gets weird, arter reboot my printer kept saying it was 44 degree and kept giving heating error and 44 degree when heating up. not even getting hot. i disconnected everything from board and still 44 degree changed firmware and still 44 degree even with all disconnected from board. Now now when i tried to heat up the hotend with settings and i measured the voltage i got a 24.4v on the HE Cable till error so power was going to the hotend but the temp readout is wrong.
So logical i thought thermostat but why give a 44 degree when i disconnected everything from the board it should go to 0, also when i disassembled the hot-end and try to was about to measure some things the board all of a sudden went to 295 degree and is stuck there now. when i tried to heat it up then it didnt give a voltage to Hotend so that is working fine.
Anyone know whats going on or know where i need to look

Re: High temp read out. Even with all disconnected (A10M)
I've contacted support. After reading slot online the most likely explanation is that there is a shortage on the board. but cant see anything with naked eye,
Especially because everything is disconnected.
They have yet to come back to me. Let's see if it's is within 24h. 8h to go.
Keep you guys updated.

with a what i believe a generic respond to a Troubleshooting Copy paste;
But I'm happy with a Respond. as i expected that it would be later with these days!Hello,
You can refer to these check it at first;
1.Remove the hotend cables off
Then you can try to check the temp of it change or not
If it changeed,it means the issue from the hotend.
If it won't,it means the issue from the motherboard
2.For the LCD issue
You can try to remove the heatbed clamps off and test it.

To be clear. Im nobody. Not a big YT nor something els. Just a another customer from the Netherlands
And right afterHello,
We have sent the email to the sales.
So all in all i must say. I'm not disappointed in the support. When you consider it's a buget DIY kit. And they could easily said that i must have messed something up. But they responded kindly and sended me a new board.Hello,
I made an order for you to ship out a new mainboard, just wait for delivery.
Best Regards

Did this ultimately fix your problem?
Back in March, I had a print run away on me and completely gummed up my hot end. While trying to clean all the filament off, I accidently destroyed my thermistor. After waiting months for new part to come, my board will only read 152c even with everything disconnected.
