Just assembled ...but... SD reader doesn't work

Just assembled my new A10M

Everything work as expected/well except the SD reader.

Whatever will be the SD card inserted (the provided one or the one used with my pursa i3), nothing happen when it is inserted

Any idea / fixing easily applicable or should I consider the display/reader defective ?

After deeper investigation, it seems that the SD reader is not detecting the card insertion.

If you insert the card -> No SD card is displayed.

If after, you press reset button, during reboot, SD card is recognized

Your feeling ?

May I consider the reader as defective and ask to the seller (Geeetech Czech) how we could proceed (warranty) ?

You can also try to see if anything has disconnected.

Already checked if something disconnected, but without success.

I guess that there is a "contact" inside the SD reader which detect the card insertion (should be faulty).

It seems that SD detection is triggered by a pin to ground..

On the basis of marlin 1.1.8 for the rev c, pin is 38. Could you confirm it?

Some diagram reference 35 and other post refer 49 or 50?

Which version of the controller board do you have?

There is one hidden on github (but doesn't remember where).

Schéma is the same than rel b(pin 35). What is fun is the fact that it doesn't match the pin number referenced in the firmware (38). I guess that the schematic reference the connector and the firmware the processor.

Tried both of them 35 38 without success (and also 6, 49,50)

Geeetech customer service/seller has just advised that they will send a replacement part. Very satisfied by their reactivity / premium customer service.
