I think I get it. I'll have a play around and see what spits out.
My original question was about how to print different models using the different spools, then when I got that to seem to work, the TPU (right hand spool) wasn't coming out the extruder but the correct feeder was turning. So I guess the question did evolve. My apologies.

Is there a Linux slicer that does do spool mixing on the A10M?

You can try to use the Cura for it(The Cura has the version for the Linux)
Then you need to add the plugin for A10M:
