A10 Firmware

Post by Plasticator » Sat May 25, 2019 6:12 am

Hi all, I know this topic may seem like it's in the wrong category but bear with me, I have been trying to find a version of the firmware with the correct bed sizing, BL-Touch capability, filament runout sensor & Z-fade option enabled but cannot find any that fulfil all these criteria.
Currently in my firmware I have managed to alter the config H file so that the bed size is correct and it is a firmware that has the BL-Touch enabled (it's the 1.1.8 version of the firmware) but I cannot figure out how to get the fade height option enbled. I did have a version of 1.1.9 that had fade height but it wasn't filament runout sensor enabled & similarly I had no idea how to enable the filament runout sensor.
Can anyone in simple plain English explain how to enable z-fade height in Arduino - i.e. what files to alter and what code lines to add/enable/disable?

Any and all help much appreciated and thx in advance.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I see that is in relation to fading an LED. What i'm actually after is the z-fade height which allows the z-axis to gradually stop compensating the print head for an uneven bed after auto level.
If you have any info on that it would be a great help, or on how to code to have the filament runout sensor active, or maybe how to, in some way, merge the two firmwares that I have such that all the features are active (z-fade, runout sensor, BL-Touch & correct bed size although the bed size isn't such an issue as I can adjust that manually in config H file).
:)
