So far i'm not having a lot of luck with the A10, after having the original power supply fail, it now seems that the GT2560 board has failed.
Mid way through a 10hour print the Y-axis decided to stop working and the motor was just vibrating and making a noise like the belt was slipping on the toothed wheel.
Having gone inside the control box there is no obvious sign of component failure, I have swapped round the stepper drivers and this has made no difference, I tested the Y axis motor on the X axis wire and the motor worked fine, I also tried the X axis motor on the Y axis feed and it just vibrated and also made a noise like the belt slipping.
I am guessing it can only be the board at fault so will wait and see if Geeetech send out a replacement since it is only about 3 weeks old.
If anyone has any suggestions as to anything else I can try to definitively identify the cause of the axis failure I would be happy for the help.
GT2560 V3 board failure.....
Re: GT2560 V3 board failure.....
I'm having exactly the same problem, but with the x-axis. I've written to the geetech support guys, and I'm waiting for an answer ...
The board of my a10m is new (a week ago), since they had to replace the one that came assembled with the machine (a month ago ...). By ruling out problems I have tested with both boards, and the result remains the same ...
I hope we can find a solution to our common problem.
