Bl Touch on a10m

Well thanks to Vert, and banging my head against the wall, Finally got marlin to update.

But I am having problems with the BL, and honestly think I got a dud.....

Arduino gives me this when I try to home Z..

"Error:STOP called because of BLTouch error - restart with M999
Error:Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting)
X:152.00 Y:115.00 Z:10.00 E:0.00 Count X:12160 Y:9200 Z:4000

now I did the m999 and it did nothing.

a) was I suppose to disconnect the endstop?

b) there are no leds working on the Bl, and doesn't respond to any commands thru the printer controls

Sigh...that is what I was afraid of, but curious if I was suppose to disconnect the endstop when adding the Bl...I had found YT vids showing both


will go back and use the non bl and cross my fingers.....
