There’s two z offsets? Or are you talking about the one written in marlin Configuration.h. do you zero that out then just use lcd?? I need help just like this guy

So i watched your video. thank you. first thing i did was unplug and remove my z axis endstop. then i follow your offset directions and end up with an offset of -7.69...i dunno why so high. i used to have it working at -1.932. now its really hi off the bed at zero. and to bring it down to paper height like your video it comes out to-7.69. then i follow your steps and g28 then g29 and this thing wants to go through the bed. what gives. and im on Marlin 1.1.8 for A10M - BLtouch firmware. when i install your latest 2.0 build it doesnt auto home. it crashes to right sideand of x axis. the lcd display shows question marks for all three axis as well X?.? Y?.? Z?.?
im on Marlin 1.1.8 for A10M - BLtouch firmware.
my physical z offsets are x -37 y-0 z-1.016
-37 measured with caliper from center of nozzle to center of bltouch tip
-1.016 is measured under my bltouch tip with spark plug gap measure @.040"=1.016mm

Ok. I will build 2.0 correct this time. I did download Arduino 1.8.8 to upload it to printer. I tried to use the Configuration.h. for my printer but I’ll spend more time on the next try. And thank you for the great advice of no other running applications while uploading. After reflashing 1.18 with my x-37 and z -1.016 written in marlin z probe offsets, my offset is now way more acceptable looking number down to -3.09.only problems having now is printing temps as my prints now curl up after time. Thanks again Vert. Your the man
