I have ordered the print head from the geeetech spare part site.
Did you guys manage to replace it without removing the wheels?
I'm still waiting for my part though...

Yes, I did this today
The heater cartridge is easy. Unplug the green connector (it just pulls out) then loosen the 2 flathead screws and the wires come out, easy peasy
The thermister is a lot more tricky. I did manage to get the connector out in 1 piece, I got it down next to the wheel, then carefully rotated it sideways and managed it to get it out between the wheel and the plate. This was tricky and took a few minutes. Reinstallation was just as tricky
It would have been way faster to just remove that 1 wheel

The new printer head is replaced after some help from vert.. regarding the eccentric nut...
