Just assembled ...but...head leakage

Post by Tparent » Sun Oct 07, 2018 4:43 pm

There is some kind of fatality (or really unlucky)

I had a lot of issue before being able to make stick my print....
Investigating further, I discovered that the print didn't stay flat but had some "large drop" randomly

On the basis of the joined pictures, I have the feeling that the main reason is a PLA leakage.

I'm not really enthusiast to try to fix by myself, the printer being brand new (just unpacked yesterday) and the assembly of the head looking complex

Is this a common issue ?

Do you already encountered this (maybe defective series) ?

I guess that contacting the seller is the best thing to do.

Thanks

Thierry

Did you heat it up after assembly and then perform the final tightening of hotend components while it's hot? If not, give it a try.

Hello,
I have the same problem, and I have read it often.
Also in the reviews on Amazon.
Geeetech, what are you going to do about it?
Are we getting a new improved Hotend sent? :?:
I have already written to Arron, and wait for an answer.
For me this is a guarantee case and I firmly believe that Geeetech will find a solution.
Until now, I have always been helped very well. :D
Greetings Norbert

I have the same issue, but not so much as yours. I have this one: SKU:700-001-1121 <-- is this the old one?
