Can't get nozzle off hot end

I have been trying to replace a blocked nozzle on my Greetech A10T. After following the video guide I heated the nozzle then used the supplied spanner. The spanner just deforms the nozzle. I have seen a few other comments with the same problem, but no solution. Is there a fix or is this a manufacturer fault?
