Newby Help: after bed leveling head/nozzle wants to go down farther then bed allows

Hello and thank you for your time nd patients,

I just got my very first 3d Printer (Geeetech A10M) the day before yesterday . The first thing i did with it after puting it together was to level the bed and i ahd to almost remobe the knobs all togather. once done i told it to print the file that came on the sd card that came with the printer. It immediatly went to work but it begn by mashing the nozzle tip aggainst the print bed. I tried to adjust the bed again but it doesnt go down any farther (one of the knobs came off). now I am unsure what to do next. I told it to auto home and it set the nozzle to the bottom left corner just off the bed area and just a bit lower then the bed its self. Please help me i sso want to get into this. i would hate to tell my loved ones that the printer ( a birthday present) just isnt working.

IT dawned on me, maybe its the stop sensor and not the bed or head. and i was right the sensor was put on the machine to far down. Now i am having the problem with the printer randomly resetting (firmware 1.1.9) from here in the forums i am going to try to compile a copy of the 2.0 ones i see there is a tutorial on youtube.

ITs all working fine now. now i just need to get use to the settings aand what all they do
