Hello,
I am doing this large print and for some reason, the printer keeps stopping and displays the function "Change filament" and yet there is filament in the tubing. Does anyone know why it does this?

Re: Filament change occurs during mid print
Ok, here are the snapshots and here is what is happening.
- I am away from the machine in another room.
- The printer beeps and the message comes up "filament change".
- I press the button, it rewinds the filament, it then heats the hot end back up to printing temperatures
- It then asks me to insert the filament back into the hot end.
- It purges then asks if I want to purge more of select the filament sensor to be in the position on.
- I press the filament sensor to be on. The printer heats up and continues to print.
The pictures are added to my google drive. I found it hard to show the LCD screen whilst also fitting the unfinished print into the whole screen, yet you will have to trust that it is happening, the main question is why?

Only just thought of it, I could try and switch the extruder sensor and see if it still happens. The thing is it only happens when I am trying to print large objects. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Filament change occures during mid print and this needs to be fixed because the printing item would not be counted in a saying product rather this will be sold in the defected items. By: Assignment writing service
