A10M v3.0 board faulty, looking to replace

Post by APLEES » Sat Jun 27, 2020 6:37 pm

Hello all.

It's been a while since I was last on, I'm happy to say that until now my printer has worked perfectly for well over a year.

unfortunately though it seems my GT2560 V3.0 board has gone, with only the LCD plugged in I'm getting 64 on hot end and 356 on hot bed, clear sign that the board has blown.

now looking for a replacement I see that the V3.0 board is no longer produced and a modified V3.1 or V4.0 board is available only. each of these seem to use a different LCD connection effectively forcing you to purchase a new screen so a total of £54.00 plus any shipping costs.

Is this with the exception of the screen a direct replacement, looking at the V3.1

does the existing Malin firmware work that I have a saved copy for on my computer "possible config change for the screen change".

Feeling frustrated that the V3.0 with the LCD original connector has been delisted. forcing so many older printers to upgrade the LCD at the same time, waste electrics and all.

Vert: I presume the work you have done with marlin 2.0 has been updated to include the changes to the board, you were a big help back in the day on discord.
