A10 - Bootloader help

Post by sSpajk » Sat Apr 11, 2020 5:42 am

Hi guys, I decided to try one last thing before buying the new lcd.
Im trying to figure out how to flash the bootloader on my a10 using arduino UNO as programmer.
I figured out where to find MOSI, SCK, MISO and ground.

My question is where to find the reset (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3596842 - there is said that i should solder it to the button, but im not sure which side or which connector of it).

2nd question is : should be the printer turned on while flashing the bootloader? Or should i connect the 5V arduino output to somewhere on the lcd as well?

long story short : (My lcd is kind of broken have 2 lines of rectangles, tried everything, last thing to try before buying new one)

Here you can see the pins:

Well i think i figured that the reset is on the 3. pin as described in the picture. But now Im having some issue with burning it using arduino, as i read on some sites it should be something about external crystal.

I found something that should solve it but, instead i just got other error :
"Error while burning bootloader.
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x03............"

Did you find a solution? I'm also having this "programmer is not responding" error.
