A10T clogged hot end

Post by andy1988 » Tue Mar 31, 2020 5:48 am

Hi,

I did a mistake of leaving PLA in extruder nr 2 while using ABS in extruders nr 0 and 1, the connector which is placed in the heatsink got clogged, solidified and this will not melt.
I want to remove this connector from HotEnd. I have unscrewed 2 screws (2 in 1 hole - screw nr 3and4) which secure the connector with hot end (for all 3 connectors) but I can't separate HotEnd from the rest. I cant unscrew screws 1 and 2 (dont have 1.5mm Allen) but it do I have to?

Hi, You can heat the hot end to 250
Then use the cleaning tool to see if you can clean the remaining consumables.
Or use a tool to see if it can be removed.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Hi,

thanks for reply.
It will not melt even at 250C. I have to remove the heatbreak. Perhaps I will have to even replace it with new one.
Any suggestion how can I remove it?
