Printing issues with my A10!

Post by untersteiner » Mon Feb 17, 2020 8:29 am

I just bought a Geeetech A10 and the prints come out like this, I'm looking for the solution days ago and I don't know what else to do. Try a lot of Cura configurations and none seems to work.

It looks like bad filament to me. If the nozzle pops and sputters in those bad areas, there is likely moisture in the filament.

Try a fresh spool or try to dry it out. I use Inland PLA a lot because I live near a Micro Center. I live in Denver, CO so moisture isn't a big concern to me.

If you don't think that is the problem, try this...

If the print seems uniformly thin, I would try to increase the flow rate. On Vert's Marlin 2.0.x builds, I find the setting at Configuration : Advanced Setting : Steps/mm : Esteps/mm :. My printer shows 98.0. If I wanted to increase the flow rate 5% I would use 103.0, for a 10% increase 108.0. I've pushed my Ender 3 to 115% flow rate on one of my filaments to get better prints.

Hope this helps!
