Hello,
I need some pieces of advice because i have problems with my A10.
I wanted to put a laser etcher on it and connect it to the fan plug to get my 0-5V signal.
Then i saw that the laser was always on.
I measured the output voltage of it and found something weird:
when i set the fan power to 0, i have about 22V.
when i set it to 255, i have about 9V.
My objective is to have a 0 to 5, 12, or 24V signal to run my laser.
If anyone has ever met this problem...
(I'm french so sorry for the mistakes )

Hi,
If you mean a fan on the extruder cover, you can measure the port at the pwm position on the adapter board with no power to 0V and 24V.

Re: A10 fan always on
Thank you for the reply,
I took all my measurements on the port called "air blower" on the 4th picture here:

what do you mean by no power? Should I measure it as I did with power set to 0 and 255?

Hi,no, when the blower is not energized, it is 0V, and the energized voltage should be the same as the output voltage of 24V.

Re: A10 fan always on
And here is my problem, my fan is always energized.
I never have 0V, my voltage is between 9 and 22V.

Hi,is it the fan on the cover of your extruder, and when the power is off, is the position of the fan port on the adapter board not 0V? In this case, there is a problem with the port of the adapter board.
