Geeetech A10 Extruder Fan Mountig direction

Post by Stonebull » Sat Nov 16, 2019 9:11 pm

Dear forum,
I have a question regarding my Geeetech A10. In which orientation shall the extruder fan (the fan that`s always on to cool the filament intake) be mounted? Sucking or blowing? I am asking because I lately unmounted it and might put it on wrong afterwards.
Is the Geeetech sticker facing towards you or towards the heat sink?

Moreover I would like to ask if somebody encounterred the nozzle clocking up frequently during long prints and what you did to stop it from happening.
I am already printing(PLA, red from Geetech) at low temperatuers (190°). My retraction is set to 7mm, with 10 m/s.
I guess it could be caused by the flipped fan (if it is the case).

Thanks for your help.

Ok, thanks!
Just one more question, does the sticker on the fan face towards you or towards the heat sink?
As the fan is very small and hidden in the cage I am not quite sure in which direction it is actually blowing...
