Complications with extruder and bed on A10

Post by Bronntanas » Tue Aug 27, 2019 3:02 am

Hi,

I've recently purchased an A10, everything was going great up until I got a blockage in my extruder.
I immediately hopped on YouTube and followed the very easy steps to cleaning out a blockage. It turned out that the filament had gotten caught near the gizmo that feeds it into the white tubing before it gets to the extruder. Happy days I thought and went about getting it set up for another print.

Alas, there were no happy days ahead for me!

For some reason the bed had unlevelled and the nozzle began to burn or scrape the glass bedding. I cancelled the print, levelled the bed and now the prints don't seem to be adhering to ANY part of the bed. I've wiped it with alcohol wipes and tried placing the print on different sections of the bed multiple times and still no joy.

Is there a cleaning routine I should be doing that I don't know about? Should I be washing the nozzle in acetone or something after a days print to remove globs of filament, to stop the next print from being ruined?

I would very much appreciate any advice or guidance in this area as I am at my wits end!

:D Hi, First you need to level the hotbed.
If you do not level the hotbed, the printed model may still not stick on the hotbed.
And the nozzle will scrape the print, so you need to adjust the hotbed.
Use the A4 leveling paper to adjust the four corners of the hotbed separately to ensure that the distance between the nozzle and the hotbed is the distance of a piece of paper.
For specific operations, you can refer to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3eCEiqF_00
In the case of printing again, the hotbed needs to be cleaned first.
