Post by jackF » Wed May 01, 2019 2:24 pm

hello, I have a temperature sensor problem.
at startup, the panel displays 254/0 - 144/0
while the bed and the nozzle are cold.
So impossible to start an impression
Does anyone have a solution ?

If I unplug the bed and / or the nozzle and their thermistors from the motherboard, I have the same problem ...
I also checked the thermistors, they are OK.
We will say a motherboard problem but I do not know how to identify it.

I tried by unplugging everything from the motherboard and flaming the firmware.

Always the same problem. view the photo

I am having the exact same issue. I also read that if disconnecting the leads doesn't change the issue that there is a short in the mobo, anyone know how to diagnose this?

Hello,

It was not a problem of sensor or connection but a problem of motherboard. I changed the motherboard and everything is in order. With the same sensors and even connections.

Problem solved.

Hello,

I've got a similar problem with the printer.
The temperature of the extruder is always shown with 273°C, even when the printer is just turned on.
I have disconnected the connection cable between mainboard and extruder, nothing changes.
When I disconect the cabel to the heatbed, the temperature of the heatbed changes to -14°, so the sensor of the heatbed seems to be ok, also the cabling.
So I would like to know, where on the GT2560 V3 board are the connection pins for the extruder temperature sensor so that I can check the mainboard.

I've checked the mainboard using the pin-out information on the attached picture.
Without cable the extruder temperature is shown as 273°C.
If I connect the temperature pin with the ground then the temperature is shown up to 350°C.
I think that this is a proof that there is an error on the mainboard.
Or is there another possibility.

OK, the problem is solved. Unfortunately not the way I would have preferred.
I've bought a new main board on my own cost (although it is still in warranty period) and installed this. Now there are shown plausible temperatures again, the temperature of extruder an heatbed are the same after power up.
It seems to me, that the main board is a little bit tender in this part, because I not the first with this problem!
