Just got my A10 last week and it has a strange issue. when it should do a z hop the printer just pauses for a several seconds and makes a deep kinda thumping/thrumming sound before eventually resuming.
I'm running the standard 1.1.8 firmware. i tried changing to the most recent build of 2.0 but instead of pausing it just locks up and becomes unresponsive until restart so i reverted back to 1.1.8
i recorded a rather clumsy video, https://youtu.be/5AfZkt2pA8E but the noise seems to not have made it onto the recording.
Any idea what i'm doing wrong?
(apart from the video quality )
pausing instead of z hop
Re: pausing instead of z hop
Hi, Does this happen when you print all the models?

Re: pausing instead of z hop
Yes, it happens no matter the model being printed, just whether or not it has z hop enabled when sliced.
I tried the exact same model sliced without z hop and it had no problems printing.
I'm using Cura 4.1 for my slicer
