hi everyone, I got my new Pro W 3D Drucker prusa I3 DIY kit assembled, got it leveled and setup, but I don't know where to go from here. Where is the step by step instruction for getting it up and going after assembly. I turned it on and the LCD is blank. I know I need to load the firmware. But do I need the SD card for that , What do you need to do after assembly. OH! and this is my 1st printer so if this is a dumb-dumb question I apologize :D !! But I am lost at this point.

Hello.
:mrgreen:

In my opinion, the display should show some content if the printer has been correctly assembled.

So it would be appropriate to check everything from scratch. :roll:

Hi, If you are referring to opening the printer screen to display no characters but backlighting,
you can do the following:
1. Reconnect the screen wiring of the LCD, perhaps due to poor contact or plugging in the reverse;
2. Check if the screen line is damaged, and replace it if it is damaged;
3. Check if the three lights are on the motherboard when the printer is turned on normally.
If not, the motherboard may have problems.
Regarding the problem of the sd card, the whole machine does not include the sd card.

well, I ended up sending the unit back. and got a replacement. built it up and presto! Numbers!!!
Then tried to print a sample vase from the EasyPrint 3D App. Buuuuut?? The extruder would not feed.
It was moving the line up and down, after reading posts I ordered a new motor and some misc. parts.
But, that was not the fix? it turned out that the heat sink and fan were too tight! Once I loosened
them it started feeding the the line.

2 questions though?

1. when the model is finished it has holes and bad ripples in it? What is causing that?

2. when I tried to print the deer. but. it keeps lifting off the bed, I cleaned the bed with alcohol?

Hi, regarding the holes and ripples in the print model,
You can check if your consumables are dry, and then check if your organization is loose, you can try to tighten them;

Regarding your print model rising, does it mean that the print model cannot be attached to the bed?
You can try to check if your hotbed is leveled.
Check that the distance between the nozzle and the hotbed is the distance of a 70g A4 leveling paper.

You can provide your print quality pictures. So that we can better solve the problem.
