Hello,

I just got my first flawless 3d print. I started with abs, in hindsight maybe not the best idea but wanted to be able tu utilize the properties of abs.

Now I want to start conquering pla. Since abs and pla kinda need the opposite regarding thermal environment I have to put my enclosure by side and start thinking about cooling fans.

I found some verry different design for cooling fan mounts and im not sure which to use.

Can you guys recommend any design in particular?
I found this minimalistic one:

And some more elaborate ones that seem to funnel the air. Happy for your suggestions :)

Also one tutorial I saw the guy hijacked the electricity from the extruder fan. That way he can regulate the speed only in pairs.

Do I need to change something in the firmware?

Any other suggestions for some1 new to pla.

Kind regards and thanks Fabian
