Can someone help on the print quality? The print on external wall layer have lots of gaps. Im using a 0.3mm nozzle. Does changing the nozzle to 0.4mm help? How to improve the print?

I have attache a photogrpahs of the print.

Hi

But a beautiful printout. I would like to be able to do something like this. :D

I understand that you are not satisfied with the result achieved because you expected something completely different.

This may be due to insufficient filament flow.

To diagnose a problem, I have a few questions:
  • 1. Have you performed any extruder calibration?
  • 2. Can I hear an extruder click during the printing process?
  • 3. Have you calibrated the mechanism in the X, Y, Z axes?

I have calibrated the extruder. No clicking sound during the print. Do i need to calibrate the x and y axis? Seems fine to me.

Hi

What kind of filament you use. What temperature have you set on the head?
Maybe it is worth to increase the temperature by 5℃ and test it?
Calibration of the axis is not mandatory, but it is worth to go through this process. ;)

I calibrated the z axes and the quality it improved a lot more!!! Thanks for the advice.

But now im hearing clicking sound from the extruder on some part of the print. I suspect the layer and nozzle could be too near. Any suggestion?

See my print.

Hi

I also use the ABS filament.
But I set the head temperature at 250℃.

What is your filament brand?

See my print.
The printout shows that one page is more pressed against the work table.
This may indicate that the work table is not level enough.

I expect that when the printer was doing that part of the printing, one could hear a click in the extruder.
You may want to try applying washer to the spring into extruder to increase its pressure.

I will try to put a shim in the spring as suggested. What do u mean my work table is not level? Is my print bed not level that lead to the clicking sound?

Hi

work table = heat bed

I mean that the levelling procedure has to be done very precisely. As good as you can.
