Printer startup connection issue

Hey guys,

I just assembled my 3D printer i3 W and I'm having some issues connecting it to my PC. Ive been able to move all the motors through the on board LCD and everything seems to be working. Also the computer recognizes that there is something in the com Port and connects to the printer. But when I try to home it or move it at all through the pc, it states "1 command waiting" and doesn't do anything to the printer. Am I missing something I should be doing? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Are you using Repetier Host?
You need to use the correct baudrate. 115.200 or 250.000
Try different.

Hi All

I had similar issue when i first built my Pro W, i installed the CH340 driver and although printer would move using the on-board menu it done nothing through the PC. After trawling through the forums i found a post recommending installing the CH341SER driver, which i done and it works perfect.

After looking in my download folder and trawling through my internet history i can see i downloaded it from

www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_EXE.html

Majority of the page is in Chinese, but the CH341SER driver is easy to spot, download, unzip and install, and fingers crossed enjoy printing.
