I have bought a genuine BLTouch from Antclabs and I am struggling to get it to work. Can one of you wonderful people confirm the correct wiring positions from one which is working.
I have a Pro W with a GT2560 rev a+ board, I have the three cables connected to the header pins by the 3 heatsinks as follows:
ORANGE Nearest the inside of the board
RED Middle
BROWN Nearest the outside edge
I have also connected the Black and White wire to the Z MIN as WHITE inside and BLACK nearest the outside edge.
I have flashed the latest PRO W with 3dtouch firmware (v1.0.03) and used print run load the M92 Z400 and M500 commands
Now I am stumped
Any suggestions folks???

Re: Another BLTouch question
I think you need to refer to these:
1.The wires of the bltouch
2.The firmware(You need to set the correct auto level mode+bltouch dealy values)
eg: For the default, bltouch delay is 375ms while 3dtouch is 675ms.

Re: Another BLTouch question
Thank you for your reply William,
however without wanting to appear ungrateful, I am completely new to all this and that is why I have asked the question I did.
I am afraid I don't understand your answer, can you expand further.
What I have managed to work out is this:
1) the BLTouch probe is reading open whenever it is up or down
2) if I disconnect the probe and connect the 2 wires at the gt2560 a+ board, the M119 code show the Z axis as triggered.
It would appear that although the probe tests (M280 P0 Sxxx) result in a successful result, I cannot get that result via printrun.
Does anyone have experience of a fix for this?

Hi, grandawoo
You can try to swap the black and white pin (the 2 pin wires) then plug it into the z min port.
If your printer still has this issue.
You can try to upload this fw to your printer:
