I have noticed that the control board that came in my order has a problem with the hot bed connector. The latch of the connector is broken and does not tighten, so it is not possible to connect the power cables to the hot bed.

As Gingko suggests, this is a screw connection.
Plug the uninsulated end of the cable into the hole. Tighten the clamping screw from above.
If the problem is something else, tell them about it.

For a short fix and for info, you don't really need the heat bed for printing anyway. It's mainly used for ABS, (which is a pain in the arse to print) so if your mainly PLA don't use the heat bed and grab some https://www.amazon.co.uk/Signstek-Print ... +ad&sr=8-7
