So I had quite a bit of problems with the printer, but I solved most of them except this one I can't figure out. I start a test print and everything looked fine until the extruder wasn't able to lift up any higher and remained at the same level.
I can get my z axis to home just fine, there is no issue with both motors lowering the axis. However the z motor on the left side doesn't do anything when I try to move it upward. The right z motor turns on and lifts the axis a little bit, but then stops and starts to grind because the other motor isn't doing anything.
Any ideas?
Z axis won't go up
Re: Z axis won't go up
Hi, You can 1. Check if the left and right axes are at the same height;
2. Check if the left and right shafts are bent;
3. Detect the driving board voltage (0.8-1.2V);
4. Is the screwed brass nut too tight? It can be adjusted and then tightened.
I hope these can help you.
