Come on Geeetech
It is about time you helped us i3 Pro A (with the separate control box) users out with decent firmware that works and that Geeetech have tried to get BL Touch or 3D Touch working on one of these.
I have all the wiring sorted and the 3D Touch works on all the G code commands for self-test, stop, up and down and have put the G29 in the right place, but it still will not Auto Level after following thing all the wiki's, instructions, videos. I have tried with 2 different 3D Touches but still, none of the carriages move. It will go through a whole print cycle and extrude filament in the same place but nothing is moving apart from the extruder motor, and the 3D Touch still does not go through it's up and down movements either.
I hope you understand. I get so many personal messages from other Geeetech forum users asking if I have managed to get it working. The answer is still NO!
Has anyone tried the i3 Pro B Firmware on the i3 Pro A? The firmware layout is all different.
So Come on GEEETECH!!! please get this sorted once and for all!!!

Please calm down.
I've checked your info.
I think the biggest problem of I3A PRO is the PSU box.
You need to open the PSU box.
Then you can plug the wires of the 3dtouch into the GT2560A/A+ board.
You can attach the photos and we will mark it and tell you how to do it.
(It based on the GT2560A/A+ board)

You need to attach the wires of it at first.
Then I will attach the fw for I3 A pro.

William, I think you will find that he has opened the control box and connected the 3D Touch (plug with 3 wires to the 3 pin Servo 0 connection and the 2 pin to the Z Min socket)....other wise how can he send commands and get it to move?? I quote...
"I have all the wiring sorted and the 3D Touch works on all the G code commands for self-test, stop, up and down and have put the G29 in the right place, but it still will not Auto Level after following thing all the wiki's, instructions, videos. We both have the GT2560 A+ board.

I've checked to the relevant information, I found that the problem lies in the extension board.
Do you have a multimeter? Maybe you should check its output port.
I think you'd better not wire the extension board, but connect it directly to the GT2560 motherboard.
Then you can upload the fw for the i3 prob(A+3dtouch),if it work,it means the issue is the extension board.

Ok, I've now gone and purchased BLTouch -Smart V2.2 as I broke the last 3DTouch when trying to home then the pin dropped etc etc… on my Geeetech i3ProA (Aluminum with separate control box) with a GT2560 Rev A+ board and have it working in test commands, but when I go to Calibrate the Z-Offset I get this happen as in the video.

I have also included a link to all my files and instructions below if that would help and also attached them to this post as this list
1. Original Marlin Geeetech Firmware, works great but no BLTouch
Geeetech_i3ProA_Original_No_BLTouch.zip
2. Original Marlin Firmware that a 3rd party had working on Geeetech similar 3D Printer Original_Marlin_i3ProA_BLTouch.zip
3. Modified 3rd Party Marlin Firmware that video shows.
Modified_Marlin_i3ProA_BLTouch.zip
4. Original Geeetech instructions for filling a 3DTouch
Geeetech_3DTouch_User _Manual.zip
5. BLTouch original instructions
BLTOUCH_SMART_2.2.zip
6. Instructions for setting up BLTouch with further links to instruction video
AnthonyQuayle003.zip
I have been trying to get this working on this printer, on and off for frigging ages now.
I tried two cheap 3DTouch first and when I couldn't get them to work,
I’ve bought the genuine one, but still not able to get to work.
I've followed Geeetech’s full tutorial and the BLTouch guide.
Any help at all would again be appreciated.
Thank you

All voltages are correct, the 3D Touch wires are all connected to the directly to the GT2560 Rev A+ board, I tried the i3 Pro B firmware you mentioned and that caused the screen to go Blank and a constant buzzing from the GT2560 Rev A+ board but once reverted back to the original firmware, all was ok.
So William, do you have access to a Geeetech Prusa I3 A Pro With 3-in-1 Control Box with GT2560 Rev A+ board that you can try a 3DTouch on?
The wires go through two extra boards. From the GT2560 A+ through to a distribution board that connects up to ribbon pin socket, then the ribbon cables connect to another distribution board on the side of the printer, then all your printer wires connect to that. I have connected the BLTouch wires directly from the GT2650 A+ to the BLTouch mounted on the hot end, but there must be a load of other pin differences to make the leveling work on this?

For the price I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I did some checking on google before purchasing and found that it didn't get a bad review anywhere. The low price would appear to come from having to assemble it yourself upsers.
