While calibrating I discover that once the Y AXIS has been homed always the first move from home it will stutter and not move the correct distance. It's only does it on the first move from home. It doesn't matter if I home at a different spot it will still do the same thing. I tried at 20mm and 50mm further out from endpoint but it does the same and proves its not the belt. It loses about 5mm. Has anybody had this and know a fix?? Regards Ralph

Thank you for the answer and yes I kept my mind going and figured it out. It was mechanical. I bought this machine off someone who gave up trying to figure it out and it was mostly built. I checked most things and fixed several mistakes I had found in both mechanical and electrical but never looked at the Y-Axis motor. All the bolts were loose and the pulley was loose as well. Re-aligned and tightened everything and have just done a calibration print and it came out near perfect first run. Very Happy now.
