Parabolic (concave) nozzle movement X and Y axis - Rod Length Change ?

If someone charged $150.00 to assemble and calibrate a 301 that would be a good deal. If someone offered me $150.00 to assemble theirs, no way.

With that said on to the calibration issue, or firmware setting.

When I lower the Z axis to the platen (very flat, checked with machinist square) within a couple mm's of the platen surface and then move the X and/or Y axis the nozzle hits the platen at a movement of 50 using X or Y Axis movement. It doesn't matter if the movement setting is 10mm, 1mm, 0.1mm. I've changed the rod length from 196 to 194 to 192, then to 197 to 198. I still get a parabolic nozzle movement.

The information at http://boim.com/DeltaUtil/CalDoc/Calibration.html gave a good representation of what happens on Delta printers.

I'm under some pressure to . . . uh . . . perform . . . because

PS: my wife bought this for me as a retirement gift (probably so I don't irritate her, or get bored) since I had been talking about this model for a while. And my sweet wife bought me 10 rolls of PLA and 10 ABS. I almost feel guilty, almost.

I've spent a couple of days on this, so I'm asking for some guidance , aka HELP!

So far it appears increasing the Delta_Radius from 86 to 92 has flattened the nozzle movement across the hotbed . BTW that's what desperation will do for the setup process

Next is the extruders . . . and all the voltages are over 1.0 - via pot and gnd

@ujsa
The printer of 301 need to level the bed at first
1. You need to adjust the endstop leader screw
Until all touch screws of the axis at the same level
2. You need to tighten the heat bed adjustment screws to the maximum limit
3. You need to move the nozzle at the lowest point(Z:0) via the LCD control
Then you need to 1) change the range of the Z axis to the correct value
2) change the z offset to the correct value
4. You need to change the radius value
LCD>print setting
On my printer, the value of it is "88.6".(Default of it is 93 or other values...LOL)
How to do it?Refer to what?
1)If the point"0,0,0" lower than other 4 points, you need to up the radius
2)If the point"0,0,0" higher than other 4 points, you need to down the radius
5. When you finished it you will get the result: Level the Rostock 301 done
6. Then you need to check the vref of the A4988
The default of it is 0.5V? Not sure. But you need to up it to 0.8~1.1V
The A4988 for the extruder: The recommend of vref is 1~1.1V
Guide of the print
1.I prefer to use the Cura slicing than slic3r
2.All prints between 15mm~20mm/s(Don't up it than 30mm/s.Why? The
extruder may lose the step )
Moving:30mm/s~40mm/s
Retract speed:25mm/s(Don't up than 40mm/s)
Retract distance:3mm
I prefer to change the opp to: max:"99%" and min"1%"
If you try to change it to "100%" and "0%",the nozzle may easy be clogged
Here are all experience of mine rostock301

Normal, you don't need to change the value of Rod length.

Anyone knows what is the latest parameter setting for the new 3 color 301 Rostock that fit the hardware?
I am experiencing the concave movement too.
Segments/sec:
Diagonal rod:
Smooth Offs:
Effector Offs:
Carrage Offs:
Delta Radius:
Print Radius:

Thanks for anyone who reply.
