Serial Port Speed Witz Arduino 1.0.1??

Hello, I've tried to upload new firmware to my I3 Pro B. I've downloaded Arduino 1.0.1 and the actual Firmware. Trying to connect to my printer I've used the serial monitor VidMate Mobdro. Within this I can't set the required port speed to 250000, so geht no connections and can't Download actual configuration data. With the newest version of Arduino this works fine and I get the configuration info downloaded. But using this I get compilation errors. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

I've only played with my firmware once when I needed to change the Z-Axis step size after replacing the M8 threaded rods with T8, single start leadscrews. I used the Arduino IDE application to read, modify and upload the new firmware though I can't remember if I had to change the Baud rate to 250000. I think you just select the appropriate board (GT2560 for the i3 Pro B). There is a "Serial Port" selection under the "Tools" tab, Baud rate settings possibly here.

I'm running Linux Mint 20.2, the Arduino IDE app was downloaded and installed from the Mint repository. If you're using Windows or MacOS I think you'll have to Google it.

Hope that helps.

Play Bonny!
