So i got a Prusa I3 Pro B (i think its a clone because i got it for £169 from eBay and the instructions were in Chinese and broken English) and I'm thinking it'd be cool to upgrade it to a dual extruder. The main things I want to know are

Can it be upgraded?

If it can, do i just buy the board for the I3 Pro C and an extra motor and hotend/extruder and plug it in as the I3 Pro B and Pro C seem to only be different in the number Tweakbox Appvalley https://vlc.onl of extruders and maybe type of board they have

I'm not too sure what board I've got because the instructions were in broken English and I have yet to see the same board online on any other printers so instead of buying a new board would it be possible to just push a firmware upgrade to the printer so that it uses 2 extruders?

I think the board has another port for a second extruder motor because the port i plugged the extruder motor into said something along the lines of "hotend motor L" and there's another one which says "hotend motor R". The instructions had the motherboard ports labeled super wrong so I had to guess a lot until it worked right.

No need to buy a new board as the GT2560 board https://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php ... ace_Layoutalready has the connections for a second extruder. You'd definitely have to buy the additional hot end hardware and a replacement extruder mount for the Y carriage to accommodate the additional extruder.

Search YouTube for further info on setups, etc. Lots of info out there!
