Blown Driver?

Hi All
First post here and first time 3d printer.
I received the I3 Pro B DIY kit for christmas and it's been a blast putting it together and working on it to get it printing.
I was in the midst of a test print when the Y movement suddenly stopped while X and Z continued as normal.
I have changed cables from one of the other motors and the other motors continue to work, Y does not work.
I have moved the Y driver to the X position and the X driver to the Y position, now X no longer functions indicating a broken Driver. I have attempted to change the potentiometer to see if this will help but nothing happens. The heatsink is warm so I assume it is getting power.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try to restore functionality or can I get a replacement under warranty?
Thanks
SB
