4.7kohm vs 1kohm resistor

Hello

My extruder started showing -14 on the hot end and before that it was literally boilling. After testing and searching i found out that the thermistor resistor for extruder was not 4.7 kohm like the others. For some reason the value was 310 Ohm. i guess that changing it will solve the problem.

My question is if it is worth swapping it with a 1 kohm one since i read at marlin that "1k ohm pullup tables - This is atypical, and requires changing out the 4.7k pullup for 1k. (but gives greater accuracy and more stable PID)???

Anyone tried it and seen any difference or stick with the stock values ?

My board is a gt2560 revA

Ohms are the unit of electrical resistance. Since the useful range of measurements runs from less than 1 ohm to more than 1 billion ohms, we use the standard metrics prefixes.

Ohm = one unit of resistance

kiloohms = 1000 ohms

megaohm = 1,000,000 ohms
